Teacher Prepares Students for SAT

As the end of the month starts approaching the juniors of Overlea High School begin to prepare for the SAT.

The SAT is a standardized test exam used by colleges and universities to make admission decisions.

“It’s important to take SAT preparation a piece at a time. We’ve been working all year to prepare, but we’ve really been amping it up in the past 6 weeks,” said Mrs. Peyton, an English teacher.

Since then Mrs. Peyton has been working to prepare her students for the SAT. With practice from Khan Academy, vocab practice from Vocabulary.com, and practice with time management, her students are bound to be ready for the test.

“The best thing you can do is read and practice. Both vocabulary.com and Khan Academy have great activities to get you ready,” said Mrs. Peyton.

Mrs. Peyton will continue to prepare her students for the SAT.
